My name is Melissa Wicker, and I am the Branch President and Mortgage Loan Officer of the Midland Thrive Mortgage Team.  I have been helping homeowners in West Texas for 30 years.  I have helped many families over the years achieve their homeownership dreams.  I have experience and knowledge with all types of loans, including Jumbo, FHA, Conventional, VA, and Non-QM loans.  I aim to help each borrower better educate themselves on what type of loans might best fit their short- and long-term home-buying goals.  I enjoy guiding them through the mortgage lending experience.  My goal is to guide the borrower through a smooth and easy process.  Melissa and her husband Cody have two children.  They love spending time together as a family and traveling to see Ole Miss football games.  I call Midland my hometown, but with my parents and grandparents involved in the oil industry, I spent a year of my childhood living on an oil-field camp in Saudi Arabia.  I am blessed to serve as a board member on the Midland Chamber of Commerce, Safe Place Board, Midland Festival Ballet, West Texas Food Bank, and Midland Community Housing Trust Board.  I am sustainer and serve on the advisory board of the Junior League of Midland.
