THRIVE Mortgage is actively seeking a Remote Mortgage Technology Manager.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As Thrive Mortgage continues to expand in new markets, and as new channels of business and retail channels continue to grow, we are looking for a consumer-focused Mortgage Technology Manager who will use technology to ensure we are delivering a fantastic and unique experience for our borrowers throughout all phases of the loan process.  To accomplish this, the Mortgage Technology Manager will have a strong grasp of our target market and serve as a liaison between our valued customers and many internal business units while building a user-friendly, cohesive, and scalable technology stack.  Strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and great organizational & interpersonal skills are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

The core responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supervise and mentor LOS Tech team members
  • Develop technical aspects of the company’s fintech strategy to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
  • Help departments use mortgage technology profitably
  • Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to our technology stack
  • Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
  • Identify opportunities for web and mobile services that can benefit our customers
  • Set company technical vision and lead the company’s fintech development
  • Establish software integration and development process and set objectives for the process
  • Oversee developer(s) to create and maintain RPA or bots to streamline processes and improve efficiency throughout all levels of origination and the loan sale

 

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

The employee should meet the following criteria:

  • Proven experience with researching & integrating mortgage technology
  • Proven experience in a leadership role
  • Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
  • Able to be a “big picture” thinker while not losing focus of critical details
  • Understanding of budgets, ROI calculations, and business-planning
  • Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with peers, brand leaders, and other senior management throughout the company
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
  • Strategic thinking
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Experience with Encompass is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with AMB is preferred, but not required
